Código Materia

At Código Materia every piece starts from a set of geometric rules, a logic, a few parameters that we use to build forms with a level of detail no hand could model. The printer translates them into clay. From there each piece is refined, fired and glazed by hand in Barcelona. Algorithm and craft. Neither one works without the other. That's the whole point. We're architects. It's where we learned to design with code, and to think of an object as part of a space rather than something placed in it. How it holds light, how it changes a room.
