Originally a minimalist grey ribbed-stripe matching set, each ensemble—consisting of a cropped tank top and matching biker-style shorts—has been artistically transformed into a powerful statement piece. Infusing traditional West African textile art with a raw, contemporary edge, the collection features authentic Adire Oniko (a Yoruba resist-dye technique) and hand-painted symbols directly inspired by Bogolan (Malian mudcloth) iconography, weaving a story of heritage and identity into every thread.
To contrast its rich cultural roots, the sets are custom-distressed with tactile braided effects and strategic slashes/cuts along the sides, delivering a perfectly imperfect, rebellious grunge aesthetic that beautifully disrupts the structured vertical lines.
