Short Bogo 1
Artisanal Genderless Streetwear
Complete your artistic ensemble with the Nyiansu Highcycled Shorts. Perfectly paired with the Nyiansu shirt or worn as a standout statement piece, these shorts bring the soul of West African textile traditions to the modern streets of Barcelona.
Originally simple white cotton shorts, they have been elevated by Nyiansu into a unique garment through meticulous hand-dyeing and sculptural painting.
Inspired by Adire Oniko Dye: Utilizing the traditional Yoruba "Oniko" method, these shorts feature a stunning, marble-like wash in shades of charcoal and slate grey. No two pairs are identical.
3D Bogolan Geometry: The sides are accented with hand-painted, raised 3D symbols inspired by Malian Bogolanfini (mud cloth). These textures offer a modern, tactile contrast to the organic flow of the dye.
Sustainable Highcycling: This piece champions the circular economy, transforming existing high-quality textiles into premium, one-off designer streetwear.
Genderless & Fluid: Featuring a relaxed, wide-leg cut and an elasticated waistband, these shorts are designed to move with any body type.
Adaptable Sizing: The flexible waist allows for a comfortable fit ranging from Size XS to M.
Urban Aesthetic: Ideal for a curated summer look, a gallery opening, or elevated lounging.
Care & Longevity
Crafted with high-quality pigments designed to last:
Wash: Machine wash up to 40°C.
Ironing: To protect the 3D artistic details and the depth of the Adire dye, always iron inside out.
Maintenance: Avoid bleach to maintain the integrity of the hand-dyed tones.
