The fabric undergoes a profound transformation using the traditional Yoruba Adire Oniko (tied resistance) technique combined with meticulous hand-painting to create an organic, smoky backdrop of shadows, earth tones, and vibrant undertones.

The surface of the Nyiansu dress features raised, symbols deeply inspired by traditional Bogolan (mudcloth) iconography. These geometric patterns are not just visual; they give the dress a unique, rich texture that catches the light beautifully with every movement.
